The last time I saw you
I said,
“See you around if you’re lucky.”
You laughed,
“If you’re lucky,”
You said.

I am at cards
I won a hundred and fifty dollars
The first time I played poker.
Then again

I'm as alone tonight
As I was last night
And probably will be tomorrow.
